Bowfishing Trips for your Outdoors Show

Each year myself and Mark Land of Muzzy Products film several outdoor shows and enjoy doing them.  Bowfishing shows provide a different spin and hunting/fishing and typically bring in really good reviews.  Come along with Professional Bowfishermen, Bryan Hughes and Mark Land for the trip of a lifetime. As featured on Michael Waddell’s Realtree Roadtrips, Easton Reality Bowhunting with Fred Eichler, 180 Outdoors, Outdoors with Bob Coker, Bowhunting North America, Tennessee Wild Side, Rocky Drake Outdoors, Muzzy’s Impale A Scale Volume I video, Bowfishing the Big Waters, Traditional Harvest’s I, II and III videos, ESPN Outdoors, and numerous other TV shows and articles for major publications. We have filmed shows for the Outdoor Channel, MOR, VS, Fox Sports South, and the Sportman's Channel.  Mark is a seasoned bowfisherman with over 20 years experience, GA state rep with the BAA (Bowfishing Association of America), and veteran tournament competitor. Mark works for Muzzy products and is the Bowfishing Promotions manager and a technical support specialist for Muzzy.  Mark also holds multiple state and world bowfishing record fish.  Bryan has been involved with the bowfishing industry for over 10 years and is the owner of Backwater Bowfishing. He served four years as  the Bowfishing Association of America Vice President and continues as a Muzzy Pro-Staffer. Bryan also holds two state bowfishing record fish for Alabama and the past World Record flathead catfish.  He competes in tournaments throughout the U.S. and has many contacts in the hunting and fishing industry.

You will be fishing eout of Mark's state of the art, customized bowfishing boat. Mark’s is a brand 2006 Silver Dollar aluminum custom bowfishing boat, 20 feet long and an 80 inch bottom. Fully rigged out for day and night-time fishing, with 3600 watts of lighting, generator, and both, trolling motor and 29 HP Kawasaki Water Cooled air fan. Powered by a Mercury 200 HP EFI outboard to get you to the hole and back quickly and safely. It has raised video platform which works great for filming both day and night.  Fishing will be done from the 7x9 foot, elevated aluminum deck.

All bows, arrows, instruction, and necessary equipment can be provided.  For filming location we can film here in northern Alabama or we love to travel to new locations to film as well.  We have filmed shows in Louisiana, Florida, southern Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, the Gulf Coast and many other locations.  We are always ready to hit the road, we just need plenty of notice to coordinate the trip.  We also do a number of shows locally here at Guntersville Lake.  If you fish here, species targeted will be carp, gar (longnose and spotted), drum, buffalo, shad, catfish and the big game fish, Grass Carp. Grass carp up to and over 60 lbs., as well as, buffalo over 30 lbs. can be taken.   Guntersville currently holds the world bowfishing records for grass carp (80 lbs), drum, bighead carp (85 lbs), and formerly the flathead catfish.  It also holds several state record fish including buffalo and longnose gar.  We have personally taken grass carp over 70 lbs, buffalo over 40 lbs, and gar over 50" long.  It is an amazing place.

We also currently have some sponsor openings for 2008 for show and event sponsors to help promote your products, we currently represent several fine companies and promote them throughout the country and would be glad to represent your company as well.

Alligator hunting shows are also available with Backwoods Gators and our alligator guide Tate Morrell.  Our last alligator hunting show with with Easton's Reality Bowhunting with Fred Eichler.  Contact us for more information on alligator hunting shows.
